More accessible flipbooks thanks to real text.

The engine overlays each page with an invisible, pixel-aligned text layer for selection and search. It also provides assistive technologies with a continuous text version. Navigation quality depends on the reading order and structure in the source PDF.

Since June 28, 2025, the European Accessibility Act has regulated certain products and services, in particular digital books and electronic commerce. A text layer is a useful foundation, but compliance depends on the service, the source document, and the entire journey.
