General conditions of use
Version of August 28, 2026
1. Purpose and acceptance
Foliade allows you to convert a PDF into an interactive catalog, preview it, publish it, update it and, depending on the formula, measure the audience, generate leads, export it or administer it via API and MCP. Creating an account or using the service constitutes acceptance of the version of these T&Cs brought to the user's attention.
2. Access and account
The service is open to both individuals and professionals. The user provides a valid address, secures its messaging and devices, and does not share a name access. The owner of the space responds to invitations, roles assigned to his team and actions taken from these accesses. Any suspicious access must be reported without delay.
3. Deposit and publication
A deposit without an account is published as soon as its conversion is complete in order to provide the requested sharing link. It remains available for thirty days, then the PDF, its publication and associated data are automatically deleted if no account has claimed it. The user must have the necessary rights before submission and verify the result before distribution.
4. Content and technical license
The user guarantees that he has the necessary rights and authorizations on the published PDFs, brands, images, fonts, personal data and links. It remains the owner of its contents and grants only the non-exclusive license necessary for their storage, conversion, technical reproduction and distribution according to its settings, during the duration of the service.
5. Prohibited uses
It is prohibited to publish content that is illicit, misleading, malicious or infringes the rights of third parties; distribute malware; circumvent a limit, access control or security measure; to massively extract the service; disrupt infrastructure; to usurp an identity; or use Foliade to send unsolicited communications.
6. Free plan
Free account: 5 published catalogues, 50 MB and 100 pages per PDF. The website and MCP share 10 upload attempts per 24 hours, including replacements and failures, with only one upload in progress. Views remain unlimited.
12 months guaranteed, then kept online based on visits. After the guaranteed 12 months, an eligible visit extends publication for 90 days. Archiving requires advance notice; you can also confirm that you wish to keep it online in your account.
An eligible visit combines at least 10 seconds of visible reading with an interaction in the reader. Previews, account managers and recognised bots do not extend publication.
Without activity or confirmation, a 30-day notice and then a 7-day reminder precede archiving. Archiving does not delete your files; republish for free if one of the five slots is available. Paid plans remain active throughout the subscription.
The free reader shows a discreet, clickable Foliade logo, with no watermark added to pages.
7. Reader Data
The customer who activates audience measurement, a nominative link or a collection form determines the purpose and legal basis of the processing. It must inform people, collect only the necessary data, set an appropriate duration, secure its exports and respond to requests to exercise rights. Contact details cannot be reused for a purpose incompatible with that announced.
8. API, MCP and automations
Discovery API: 5 successful conversions in 30 days, one at a time; 50 MB and 100 pages per PDF, 250 MB of stored API packages.
MCP is included from the free plan. The full API, analytics, bulk uploads and webhooks are included from Pro. Standalone HTML export is included from Business.
The customer protects their keys, revokes them if in doubt and remains responsible for instructions sent by their scripts, agents or plugins. The Foliade plugin must only receive a PDF explicitly chosen by the user. Publishing or unpublishing through an assistant has the same effects as an action in the dashboard.
9. Availability and security
The publisher implements reasonable means to provide the service, without guaranteeing uninterrupted availability. A maintenance, incident, security risk, abuse or legal obligation may justify an interruption or targeted restriction. The user keeps a copy of his source documents and important exports.
10. Export and end of use
This data export remains free. HTML export from Business.
Unpublishing deletes neither analytics nor contacts. When a paid plan ends, free-plan rules, including the Foliade logo, apply to the five most recent active catalogues; the remainder are archived, not immediately destroyed.
11. Service Ownership
The interface, the Foliade brand, the documentation and the software components remain protected by the rights of their owners. Licenses for distributed components, including GKFlip, continue to apply. No rights to the Service are transferred other than the limited right to use it in accordance with the Agreement.
12. Suspension and reporting
The Publisher may suspend access or publication when action is necessary to protect the Service, third parties, or comply with the law. Unless there is an emergency or legal impossibility, the user is informed of the reason and can present his observations. Disputed content can be reported to [email protected] with its precise address and the elements allowing the request to be examined.
13. Evolution, language and applicable law
Substantial changes are announced prior to their entry into force. If they affect a paid subscription, the rules laid down in the GTC apply. These CGUs are subject to French law. Translations facilitate their reading; the French version constitutes the reference contractual version, without excluding an applicable mandatory provision.
