How to create a flipbook from a PDF
Turn a PDF into a catalogue readers can flip through, check the result and copy its sharing link. This tutorial covers uploading without an account and keeping your catalogue in a free account.
Prepare your PDF and check the limits
Export your brochure, menu or catalogue as a PDF, then check its file size and page count. Uploads without an account accept up to 50 MB and 100 pages. Choose an export for screens with selectable text so readers can view the pages and search for words in the document.
Upload and check your flipbook
On the Foliade homepage, choose your file or drag it into the upload area. Wait for conversion to finish, then turn a few pages in the preview. Check the images, search for a word and test existing links. A PDF brochure, for example, becomes a flipbook reader available at a web address.
Share and keep your catalogue link
Copy the link next to the reader and open it on a phone before sharing it. Without an account, the link stays active for 30 days. Attach the catalogue to a free account before that deadline for 12 months of guaranteed hosting. You can then create a QR code or embed the reader on your website.
