Foliade guide Customise
Apply Your Brand Style to Multiple Flipbooks
Save a catalogue’s appearance as a brand theme and reuse it on your other flipbooks. Learn how the default theme works for new catalogues.
Save a brand theme
First customise a catalogue in Appearance, then select Save as theme and give it a recognisable name, such as Sales brochures. Find it under Settings, then Brand. A free account can save one theme; multiple themes are available from Pro. The applicable limit is displayed in this section.
Apply a theme to another catalogue
In Brand, use Apply to to reuse the theme on an existing catalogue. Then open that catalogue and check its preview: the colours or logo may need adjustments for its cover. Renaming or duplicating a theme lets you prepare a variation without starting again with every setting.
Understand which changes affect existing catalogues
A saved theme is a reusable template. The default theme applies to catalogues created afterwards. Editing that template does not update existing catalogues; apply it explicitly to each one. For example, changing a theme’s logo does not automatically replace the logo on a brochure that has already been shared.
Text summary of the video
- Once a catalogue looks right, keep that look as a theme. At the top of the Appearance tab, click Save as theme and give it a name.
- Themes live in Settings, under Brand, next to your company name, accent colour, brand logo and registered addresses.
- Each theme can be renamed, duplicated, or set as the default for new catalogues. The summary shows what it defines and how many catalogues follow it.
- Apply to pushes a theme to an existing catalogue in one click. A theme is a starting point: changing it later never alters the catalogues that already use it.
- Back in a catalogue, the selector shows which theme it follows, and the sections adjusted since. Several themes are available from the Pro plan.
Key points
- The default theme applies to catalogues created after it is saved, never retroactively.
- Deleting a theme takes nothing away from catalogues: they keep their styling.
