Foliade guide Share and distribute
Create a PDF Catalogue Library with One Link
Bring several catalogues together in a library with one sharing link. This tutorial covers Foliade shelves, document order, appearance and access settings.
Distributor Feature available from this plan. See the offers
Add catalogues to a shelf
With the Distributeur plan, create a shelf and add the published catalogues you want to present together. The Content tab lets you choose their order and collection. For example, group brochures, price lists and new releases under one link. A shelf references existing catalogues without duplicating their PDFs or statistics.
Choose a layout and collections
In Appearance, compare grid, bookshelf, editorial list, coverflow, featured and collection kiosk layouts. Adjust covers, colours, background and font, then check the display on a phone. Collections group documents around a need; choose labels your readers can understand.
Share or protect your library
Set the shelf to public or password-protected, then check its link before sharing it or embedding it on your website. Choose whether a catalogue opens within the page or in a new tab. Unpublishing a catalogue removes it from shelves that reference it without changing their addresses.
Text summary of the video
- A digital shelf gathers several published catalogues under one address, to share, embed or print as a QR code. It comes with the Distributor plan.
- The Content tab sets the order, and a collection label for each catalogue: price lists, guides, new products.
- Appearance offers six layouts: grid, a bookshelf with its planks, an editorial list, coverflow, featured, and a kiosk by collection. Then cover size, colours, a background image and Google Fonts.
- Access works like a catalogue: public, protected or draft, a subdomain or your own domain, and whether catalogues open in the page or in a new tab.
- This is the public shelf. One password can open a protected shelf and its protected catalogues, and every read still counts on the catalogue it came from.
Key points
- An unpublished catalogue disappears from all its shelves without breaking their address.
- A shelf has no quota and duplicates no file.
