Create a Clickable Table of Contents for a PDF Flipbook
Help readers reach the right page: import PDF bookmarks or create table-of-contents entries in Foliade, then check navigation in the reader.
Import bookmarks from your PDF
Open the catalogue in your workspace, then the Pages tab. If your PDF contains bookmarks, import them to prepare the table-of-contents entries. Review their titles and destinations before saving. A contents page drawn inside a PDF is not necessarily a usable bookmark list; you can create entries manually instead.
Create and reorder entries
For each section, enter a clear title and the page number it should open. Add, remove or drag rows into the right order. Use section names that help readers, such as Pricing or Technical specifications. Save, then test the entries in the reader’s Table of contents panel.
Check page numbers after conversion
Use the converted catalogue’s page numbers, not just the numbers printed in the document. Printed page 1, for example, may be the reader’s second page if it follows a cover. After replacing a PDF or splitting spreads, click every entry to check that it still opens the right section.
